Berlinovo is a housing society, focused on short-term rents for temporary workforce in Berlin, playing a fundamental role on the cities' development. We have have been their main communications partner for all on and offline materials.
The project coincided with an acute housing crisis in Berlin, where increasing housing capacity required political support and public awareness. Berlinovo initiated a city-wide campaign to highlight the urgent need for housing for key professional fields and industries facing workforce shortages. The campaign connected the broader societal challenge to Berlinovo’s mission, strengthening the Apartment brand while contributing to the public discourse around housing and urban development.
A set of branded giveaways were distributed at selected fairs and conferences. These materials extended the campaign into physical touchpoints, supporting brand visibility and engagement in professional and political contexts.

Berlinovo Apartment shared its online presence with another subsidiary and its parent company. The mixed content, differing purposes, and diverse target audiences led to high user drop-off rates. The challenge was to create a dedicated, user-centered website that addressed tenant needs, simplified home search, and improved communication between tenants and Berlinovo.

To address these challenges, I designed a modular UI system supported by a components library to ensure consistency and scalability. A custom iconography set improved navigation and clearly communicated apartment features, included commodities, and available services at a glance. Central to the experience was an enhanced apartment search with intuitive filters, enabling users to refine results by location through a map view as well as by included amenities and services. Together, these elements reduced friction in the search process, supported informed decision-making, and created a clearer, more accessible digital experience for current and prospective tenants.
